Above all, the magical Luberon village of Roussillon displays a painter's palette where the combinations of oxides lend to its ochre an infinite variety of colours, reflected in the landscape and in the facades of its houses.

Gordes, classified among the "most beautiful villages of France", was built out of the stone of the rock on which it sits. Senanque's abbey, founded in 1148, is an amazing example of primitive Cistercian architecture.

Lourmarin, gateway to la Combe, is located at the foothills of Lubéron. This Luberon village, which possesses a wealth of culture and history, and where Provence's strong mix of scents perfumes the air, remains quiet and peaceful within its green haven.

The old Luberon village of Lauris, perched on a cliff, offers the passer-by the golden vision of its old stones. Its XVIIIth century castle sits at the drop of the rock. The six Luberon villages of Bonnieux, Silvergues, Buoux, Lacoste, Ménerbes and Oppède, are nestled like almond blossoms on the northern flank of Lubéron.
